It could be hard to decide on a good theme that would fit both boy and girl twins, but this adorable Twins Nautical Birthday Party was the perfect theme for these 3 year olds! The party colors were navy blue, white, and light pink. Forty guests attended.
The family wanted a theme classy enough for the adults in attendance but also fun enough for the children. The twins had also attended a destination wedding in the Caribbean and could not stop talking about the beach so they thought a nautical theme would meet all requirements and it did! They scoured various party blogs including Pretty My Party for ideas! Party supplies and decor were found on Etsy and at various craft stores for party supplies.
The nautical themed dessert table was the focal point and everyone of all ages loved it! The tables were beautiful with pink peonies, but also fun with craft paper, crayons, balloons, candy, and buckets with party favors for each child in attendance.
A buffet-style dinner was served. Pizza, pasta and salad were the main items on the buffet. A dessert buffet was also served with cake, cupcakes and various other baked goods.
The kraft paper table runners were stamped with various nautical theme shaped stamps. Buckets with age appropriate party favors such as goldfish, chocolate, crayons, stamps, stickers, lip gloss, small stuffed animals, etc. were put together for each child in attendance. The treasure chest for the dessert buffet was also a DIY project, originally purchased from the Dollar Store, sprayed with white paint and filled with gold treasure coins. A starfish or sand dollar was attached to each name tag at each guest’s place setting.
Crayons were placed on each table and both children and adults alike used them to decorate the kraft paper table runners or to play games on the runners. It was a wonderful day to celebrate Caleb and Ella with this fun and creative Twins Nautical Birthday Party.
